Gaynor Ranch and Resort offers you two venues, each one featuring luxurious cabins and a distinct ambience. Whether you want a taste of the Old West Hospitality at the Gaynor Ranch or the quiet solitude of Gaynor’s Cabins in the Woods, you can find it when you stay with us. Each of our locations is a short ten minute drive from the quaint village of Whitefish, Montana with its shops, restaurants and friendly people. For people looking for the perfect Whitefish vacation venue, this is the place! From there it’s a short drive to Glacier National Park, world class skiing and magnificent lakes, rivers and streams.
A few years ago Don and I built cabins on our ranch. . . Soon we discovered that we were turning away people from our Montana cabin rental in droves, so we built 8 more cabins near the ranch in 2006. They have been a big hit also! Now our guests have two venues to choose from -- the popular ranch OR the cabins in the woods.

There is so much to do here you will not want to leave! Our great Old West Hospitality is still the same…and the Cabins near Glacier National Park are beautiful with hardwood floors, down comforters, luxurious bedspreads and incredible artwork. Each cabin comes with 2 bedrooms with queen beds. It has a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds great for teenagers and under. Each living room has a queen futon. The kitchens are well equipped. . . Many guests have said "you have thought of everything"…and we tried to! The beds have down comforters and luxurious bedspreads. You will love the colorful decor. Pick the cabins on the ranch or the cabins in the woods.
A guest over the weekend came up with the description as "wilderness chic"! Many people extend their stays! Enjoy our site and our stories and then book your cabin. . . We can't wait for your visit! Come celebrate all 4 Seasons with us -- you will love it!

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Good Afternoon Gaynors!
Wow, I don't believe I have any concerns, all that I have is compliments. Your cabins in the woods are beautiful, comfortable and have everything that you need. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing at the cabin, walks around the perimeter of the property, visiting Whitefish (I could not believe it was so close but, felt so far away) and visiting Glacier National Park (also, so very close).
I do know that we will return and have already been telling our friends about your cabins. We are hoping that at some time in the near future our friends and our families can all get together and stay at the cabins.
Okay, so two minor things - The reservation confirmation email did not really outline that we could go directly to "The Cabins in the Woods" so we showed up at the Ranch (although, I did get to see your beautiful ranch) and the coffee pot in cabin 1 takes about an hour to brew.
Thank you for your hospitality and Marv & Laurie are great and friendly!
